Maximum on start day of the U20 qualies on 3 August: 20y 74d at that day (= players max 19 last season).
Maximum on start day of the U20 round 2: 20y 109d at that day (=players max 18 last season).Sounds too difficult to understand? Let’s try to give an easy-to-understand explanation:
All players that were 20 last season during World Cup in Malaysia, should not be able to start again in this WC.
This season: only players that were 19 or younger last season, should be able to play and this will be valid for the whole season.
Next season: only players that were 18 or younger last season, should be able to play and this will be valid for the whole season.

Players can play in U20 as long as they did not become 21.
This means that a player that turns 21 between semi final and final will not be able to play anymore in the final.
Players from 21 can stay in the U20 but can not be fielded. It is up to U20 coach to decide between a TS hit when removing immediately or going on with a smaller team.
